Rotax has released news of its recent approval under the Russian authority for type certifying the type 912 and 914 series of engines. This important step will allow a number of countries access to the use of these for the manufacturer of small aircraft that require the TC for their countries. The testing and evaluations done for the TC under the former JAA and now EASA governance was accepted for the basis of the approvals. The FAA, EASA and now the Russian approvals show the worldwide acceptance of the Rotax Aircraft Engine line.
