THE IMPOSSIBLE HAS HAPPENED!

We knew something special was in the works, but never expected this!  Yes, the impossible has happened!  This morning during the Sun-n-Fun Innovation Preview (put on by the folks at AeroNews Network). CubCrafters started the ball rolling when they announced a brand new aircraft, the Carbon Cub UL.

Patrick Horgan, President of CubCrafters introducing the new Carbon Cub UL, powered by the new Rotax 916iS

While amazing in itself, the mentioned it would be Rotax® powered.  But not just any Rotax® engine, a brand new one that makes 160hp! Called the 916iS!

(L2R) Daniela from Aeropartes Latino America, Dean from Lockwood Aviation and Ronnie from South Mississippi Light Aircraft show us the new Rotax 916iS!

In our next article, we hope to show you some photos of Carbon Cub UL. For right now let’s focus on the “Impossible” engine.
