Rotax-Owner AirVenture 2022 Raffle

Dear Rotax Fans/Owners,

Be sure to stop by the Rotax iSC/iTC booth (#265) right off celebration way next week if you’re in Oshkosh, WI for the airshow. You know the big one.. EAA’s AirVenture 2022. In addition to meeting the knowledgable techs at the booth and seeing the entire engine line-up, Rotax-owner.com will be giving away raffle tickets to anyone, yep anyone who takes a selfie with 3 different Rotax-Powered aircraft (+ names the aircraft/Rotax engine model it has). There’s some good stuff up for grabs.

You might be asking, why a Bose A20 headset would be included in the package? Well, if you’re plugged into the Rotax world you’d know that they’ve recently announced that Bose and Rotax reached an agreement to include a Bose A20 headset with every engine that is purchased with extended warranty (Rotax Care)* (*some exclusions apply). For pilots who fly the pants off their aircraft or flight schools, the package could make sense especially when you factor in the headset. Rotax Care extends the standard warranty out to 5 years or TBO, whichever comes first. As of today it’s only available to a new 912iS purchase in the Americas but nevertheless could be a good option to get yourself a Bose A20 if you don’t end up winning the Rotax-owner raffle.

Rotax history lesson for the day: in 1917 Rotax, based in Dresden, Germany, filed a patent for the first bicycle freewheel hub, or Rotary Axle (ROT-AX).

Keep the blue side up,
