Exchange of floats on ROTAX\u00ae Engine Type 912, 914 and<br \/>\n2-stroke (Series)<\/p>\n<p>See the table below for more details:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<table style=\"width: 550px; background-color: #ffffff; border-color: #000000;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"3\">\n<h3><strong>Why the ASB:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u201cDue to a deviation in the manufacturing process of the floats a partial separation of the<br \/>\nouter skin because of resonance vibrations during engine operation may occur. These<br \/>\nseparated particles might lead to a restriction of the jets in the carburetor. As a consequence<br \/>\nthe fuel supply to the affected cylinder bank may be reduced or blocked. Possible<br \/>\neffects are a rough engine running behavior with reduced fuel flow, up to a major power<br \/>\nloss or engine shut down with blocked fuel flow on the affected another one.<br \/>\nEngines and\/or carburetors with serial numbers higher than in criterion A or<br \/>\nB have already been equipped with tested floats.<br \/>\nFor relevant information, see the
